The neck often maintains the same static position with continuous computer work, creating muscular fatigue. These stretches will help to relax your muscles and decrease tension by changing your neck position.
1. Neck Rotation
Start with neck in a neutral position. Slowly tilt head to the left (left ear to left shoulder). Repeat exercise on the right side.
Start with neck in a neutral position. Slowly rotate head toward the left shoulder. Repeat exercise by rotating head to right shoulder.
Start with neck in a neutral position. Slowly tilt head forward and stretch. Do not extend the neck backwards.
2. Chin Tuck
Start with neck in a neutral position. Glide head back without lifting chin (double chin).
