Keyboard and Mouse - Your Work Habits
When typing, the goal is to work with free flowing movements, similar to playing the piano.
When mousing, the goal is to minimize anchoring solely at the wrist. It is ideal to adjust the armrests on your chair so you can rest/anchor your elbow when mousing.
Using the trackpad on the laptop on an ongoing basis is not ideal as it leads to non-neutral hand/wrist postures. You should use an external mouse whenever possible.
